LOCATION

Chios is the largest island in the Northeastern Aegean, in the geographical center of the region, south of Lesvos. It is 822 square kilometers with 500 miles of coastline. 

Its highest mountain is Pelinnaio (1170 m.) Chios has a regular ferry service with Piraeus, Thessaloniki and Cesme. Chios is an island that offers holidays in all seasons, with mild winters and few rains. In the summer they are cool, with the Aegean meltemi. 

Visit Chios with its medieval villages, amazing beaches and stunning natural beauty. Megas Limnionas is located 9 km south of the city of Chios, after Karfas. It is the seaport of Thymiana. It consists of small pebbles and coarse sand, suitable for sunbathing. The area has hotels, studios and rooms to let as well as restaurants and fish taverns with sea food. There are also a few cafes and bars that are ideal for nightlife.
